2010 Club Race Schedule

RLWYC Wednesday Night Race Series June 30 – August 11

RLWYC Club Racing Series; The season opener will be the new Konantz Cup on Saturday, June 26th.  Our club’s burgeoning fleet of Scow sailors promises to make 2010 another exciting season.

• June 26^th (Saturday) – Konantz Cup – 11 a.m.
• July 10-11 (Richardson Regatta) (Saturday and Sunday) – times TBA .  (Scow race clinic to be held July 9^th)
• July 18 (Sunday) – 1 p.m.
• July 25 (Sunday) – Kenora Cup – 10:30 a.m.
• July 30^th (Friday) - 2 p.m.
• August 8, (Sunday) – 2 p.m.
• August 15 (Gage Cup & Sailing Windup) (Sunday)  - Noon

Other Notable Events

• Zig Zag Open Zig Zag Yacht Club July 3 – 4.  Adult and youth sailors encouraged to attend. (See http://www.zigzagyachtclub.com)
• Scow Clinic – July 9th.  More information to come
• LOWISA Arctic Glacier Youth Open, Sunday, August 1 ( Arctic Glacier Regatta Registration)
• LOWISA Lake of the Woods August 2 – 6, New 3 day north end lake race:  August 2 – 4. (See http://www.lowisa.org)

All skippers who compete in the Richardson Regatta as well as any skippers who compete regularly in Club Races (i.e. more than one race) will be required to pay the $20 MSA/CYA annual registration fee.  Sailors enrolled in the Learn to Sail program and Race Team pay this fee as part of their regular registration, so for them there will be no additional charge.
